I call this one "Mask." I built the face from layered textures and bold brushwork, letting black, red and white collide until a fragmented, intense expression appeared. I have never been great at collaborating, but since this community is about collaberation, I thought I would post something from one of my collaborative projects The only truly successful collaborations I have engaged in were with my late wife, pianist Pamela Howland, who passed away in 2021, five weeks after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. In 2019, we produced 53 short music/art videos, one each week plus one for New Year's.
